RM of Fox Valley’s story

The Rural Municipality of Fox Valley No. 171 began life as the RM of Keebleville No. 171, which was incorporated as a rural municipality on October 29, 1913.

On November 27, 1926, its name was changed to the RM of Fox Valley No. 171, the name it still carries today.

Today the RM surrounds the village of Fox Valley, where the municipal office is located, and also includes the localities of Inglebright and Linacre. Its council meets on the second Thursday of every month, and Highway 21 serves Fox Valley, with Highway 371 intersecting it.
